FUNDING BOOST FOR MURROONA GARDENS AGED CAR FACILITY

Advocating for our senior citizens and pushing for better-aged care facilities throughout Dawson that prioritises dignity, safety, and quality of life, especially for regional areas where medical care can be limited, is something I have done since being elected.

After speaking with Chairman David Nebauer, I’m pleased to advise Murroona Gardens Aged Care has been successful in receiving $14.7m through the Aged Care Capital Assistant program which will go towards the cost of developing a new 2 x 12 room dementia specialist facility. This funding will also be used to build a new laundry and a new men’s shed.

Well done to the Murroona Gardens team on their work towards this project.
